Chapter 1042: Three heavenely soul realm Cultivator
Elder Song was completely baffled to see one of the Grand Elders in this mysterious lady’s grasp. The Grand Elder looked in Elder Song’s direction, terrified, silently begging to be saved by this crazy women who destroyed everything in her path and killed every single elder and disciples of his faction leaving only him alive; nevertheless, Elder Song simply ignored the Grand elder as if he did not exist, wanting absolutely nothing to do with the old man.
"What is going on here?"
At that very moment, two figures manifested one after another. Elder Song’s facial expressions changed drastically when he saw Aana and Kana lady Evely’s disciples. Similar to the mysterious lady right before him, both of them were holding two old men in their hands—they were the Grand Elders of the other factions. Athena simply frowned upon seeing the two, but Elder Song immediately bowed his head to pay his respects to these ladies.
Seeing her father, Genelia followed suit, paying her respects to her senior cultivators; she knew exactly who these two ladies were.
"Ahh, Elder Song, it’s been a while. What are you doing here?" Kana casually stated upon recognizing the familiar face. She knew this old man owned multiple businesses throughout the Kingdom, including river shore city,a famous shop which sells potion, high quality weapons and spiritual stones.
"It is good to see you again, Lady Kana. Well... I came here to see Young Master Yohan... but I guess he is busy!" he responded with a strained smile. He did not feel like revealing his true purpose; if they learned he was here to introduce his daughter to Yohan, things might take an unfavorable turn.
"Well, he is busy dealing with some rats inside the clan!" Aana exclaimed, glancing at Elder Song before shifting her gaze toward Genelia. Genelia felt a chilly sensation wash over her entire body under Aana’s careful gaze.
"Is she your eldest daughter?" Aana asked. Elder Song gulped nervously; after all, unlike Lady Kana, the youngest sister was famous for being short-tempered—completely opposite to her elder sister.
"Yes, my Lady. Her name is Genelia; she is the oldest one!" he responded.
"Not bad. She is indeed talented, reaching the True Spirit Realm at such a young age," Aana said indifferently, taking both Elder Song and Genelia by surprise.
"It is nothing compared to you, my Lady!" Genelia immediately responded, trying to remain humble in Aana’s presence.
At this very moment, yet another figure manifested, holding an old man in his arms. He simply bowed his head upon seeing the three ladies. Elder Song and Genelia exchanged glances, wondering what on earth was going on and why everyone was holding an elder captive.
"Lucine, you caught one too?" Athena looked at the old man in Lucine’s arms. The old man’s body trembled upon hearing Athena and meeting her gaze, which was filled with killing intent.
"Well, this old man is crafty. He was in the midst of fleeing, but before he could do so, I caught him!" Lucine responded to Athena. He then shifted his gaze toward Elder Song and his daughter, wondering who these strangers were.
"They are acquaintances, don’t mind them," Kana stated upon noticing Lucine’s wary expression. Lucine nodded his head, accepting Kana’s word.
Elder Song curiously observed Lucine; after all, this was the first time he had seen this mysterious man inside the clan. Apart from his striking looks, his cultivation base was exceptionally high.
"Should I just kill them all?" Aana exclaimed, looking down at the crowd on the ground. Those people were trying to push past the soldiers guarding the entrance of the Matriarch’s manor; all of them wanted to see Alena.
Elder Song and Genelia felt a cold shiver run down their spines upon sensing the killing intent radiating from Aana. Athena remained unfazed, unbothered by Aana’s remark, as her eyes were focused elsewhere.
"Well, you can’t. We don’t know whether they belong to those factions or not. We have no choice but to wait for Yohan," Kana whispered, seeing the annoyance on her sister’s face. Aana simply clicked her tongue in frustration and tightened her grip; the old man in her grasp trembled like a fish out of water.
"You might end up killing him," Athena remarked, glancing at Aana as she grew impatient.
"I don’t think Yohan is going to mind if I accidentally end up killing one of these bastards..." Aana was in the middle of completing her sentence when she noticed something. The same went for Kana and Athena; the facial expressions of all three became incredibly serious.
Elder Song, Genelia, and Lucine were confused by the sudden change in Athena, Aana, and Kana’s behavior. The trio had been relaxed just a moment ago, but all of a sudden, they turned deadly serious, staring into empty space.
At this very moment, Elaine appeared, holding an old man by his right leg. Everyone was taken aback by her sudden arrival.
"Don’t worry, I am not an enemy," Elaine whispered, seeing the trio grow so guarded upon noticing her presence. Athena, Aana, and Kana remained on high alert, knowing this woman was dangerous; they could not see through her cultivation. She was likely someone at Evelyn’s level—a peak Heavenly Soul Realm cultivator.
"Three mid-Heavenly Soul Realm cultivators, huh..." Elaine whispered in a low voice, looking in the direction of Athena, Aana, and Kana. The moment those words reached their ears, the trio’s expressions hardened further.
Aana simply clenched her fist, her eyes turning cold. In an instant, a frightening aura erupted from her body, causing the surrounding space to twist and tremble as she revealed her Heavenly Soul Realm cultivation. The old man in her grasp instantly lost consciousness, unable to bear the extreme pressure.
Elder Song, Genelia, and Lucine were horrified by the sudden change in their surroundings. All of them felt a crushing weight they had never experienced before; the three knew that if they stayed there, their bodies would be crushed under that terrifying pressure.
At the same time, the crowd on the ground began coughing up blood, their bodies unable to withstand the frightening pressure. One after another, they collapsed onto the ground, instantly losing their consciousness.
