Qin turned around and saw a group of people who looked like ferocious monsters and wanted to eat her. She was so scared that she retreated hastily. The servant who followed her hurried forward to protect the women in the middle.
"How dare you! Not only are you slandering my government with nonsense, but now you're trying to kill me. What exactly is your purpose?"
The man in the middle said, "Stop talking nonsense. You know what you did. We're not afraid even if you go to the authorities!"
"How dare you! This is the young lady of the Duke's Mansion!"

They watched the pink-dressed woman scream at them, and before they could react, a basin of water suddenly poured over them. The servants had just reached out to wipe the water from their mouths when the people on the other side rushed over.
Qin's face turned pale with fear. She turned around and shouted, "Where are the people? Where did they go?"

Qin's veil fell to the ground, her hair was torn into a mess, and her face was covered with slap marks. Finally, she got a chance, and the servant helped her to entangle the people, and she climbed out of the crowd.

Hearing this, Qin didn't dare look back and just ran out of the yard. However, when the people gathered around and saw Qin trying to run, a man and a woman quickly chased after her, pulling her by the hair and dragging her back.
"What are you doing? Stop it!"
Just at this moment, a dozen guards from the Duke's Mansion finally arrived. They surrounded the group of people with knives, and Qin and Sui Xin were saved.
"Kill them for me, kill them!"
Seeing the normally noble Madam beaten to such a state, the guards knew something was wrong. Su Wan looked at the chaos in front of her and her brows suddenly furrowed. She never expected that there would be a woman. She clenched her fists and was about to raise her hands.
"Stop!" A heavy and powerful voice rang out in the tense moment. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw Cang Yi standing there with a terrifying look in his eyes, which made everyone fall silent.
The scene quieted down, Cang Yi stepped aside, and Xie Yin, dressed in a crimson tunic, stepped forward, sword in hand. Seeing the stranger approach, Qin and Su Wan hurriedly picked up their veils and put them back on, wiping away the footprints and straightening their clothes.
Xie Yin sized up the group of knife-wielding men, his gaze fixed on their weapons for a moment. A guard, noticing something was amiss, quickly dropped his knife. A flicker of joy crossed Xie Yin's lips, and he walked towards them.
Watching Xie Yin approaching, Qin Shi dragged Su Wan back a few steps. Before she married, she had witnessed this man slaughtering men from aristocratic families. She didn't understand how a legitimate son of an aristocratic family could hate the gentry so much, but she knew he held a particular grudge against the Yu family, and so she was afraid!
Xie Yin walked two steps away from Su Wan and stopped, "Whose family are you from?"
Qin: Is this asking a question even though you already know the answer?

Xie Yin frowned, turned around, and his eyes passed over Su Wan and stopped on Qin.

Xie Yin's face was calm and no emotion could be seen. "Oh~ Our company and the Duke's Mansion really have a deep connection." When Xie Yin said this, he glanced at the person next to him, causing Su Wan to frown.
Qin Shi didn't understand what he meant. She just thought that this devil was deliberately teasing them. She felt disgusted in her heart but remained respectful on the surface. "Thank you, Chief Sir. The people from the Duke's Mansion will handle this matter properly. Don't worry."
