Chapter 99: The Monster’s Defeat Under The Twilight Sky
Chapter 99: The Monster’s Defeat Under The Twilight Sky
Outside—on the right side of the main building—only Lia and the 12 students who had helped fight Kazora earlier remained. The students stood outside the building vertically, while Lia stood horizontally. They did this because they intended to fight Kazora if he attacked the main building.
"Anyway... if Julian looks strange, tell Sagara to shoot him too" Lavendina continued.
"Okay," Lia said.
Lia ended the call. She looked at the digital clock installed on her phone.
"17:36—it’s almost night" Lia said.
Lia looked out at the front of the field.
"No signs of change since he took the pills?" Lia asked, looking at Kazora.
"I want to stop the fight immediately, but..." Lia continued.
Lia stared at Anindya, her posture still straight, her eyes sparkling, her fingertips pressed together, and a vibrant smile behind them.
"Lady looks very excited..." Lia said with a flat expression.
Lia sighed, then looked up at the sky, searching for the sun. She saw that the sun was starting to set, the sunny weather making the sky turn orange as it neared the horizon. The breeze was very cool, but that didn’t make the field seem peaceful.
"Well, let’s give them a few minutes to have fun" Lia thought to herself.
Kazora suddenly felt his heart pounding, his body began to tremble—slowly changing shape. His height increased to 220 cm, his skin turned a deep red, his eyes became empty, and his muscles became bulging—making him weigh 170 kg. This caused his t-shirt and shorts to rip.
"Ohh~, I’ll take a picture of this," Lia said in awe.
Julian released his fingers from Elisia’s chin, then stepped in front of her and gestured to her to step back with his right hand.
"WOW~, SO YOU CAN DO THAT?" Julian asked teasingly.
"Ka-Kazo?" Elisia muttered with a worried and fearful expression.
"GOOD LUCK, JULIAN! YOU CAN DO IT!" Anindya shouted enthusiastically, supporting him 15 meters away.
As before, Julian ignored Anindya’s words. His expression was one of pure excitement, his eyes locked on his opponent, and he grinned broadly at him.
Julian began pulling on both sides of the chain with both hands.
"CLANK!"
"HEHEHEHE, THIS IS GOING TO BE INTERESTING!" Julian said excitedly.
Kazora had lost control of his body, groaning and immediately attacked Julian with his right palm from above.
"SWOOSSHH!!!"
Julian quickly retreated.
"BAAMMM!!!"
Kazora’s palm cracked the ground and kicked up dust.
Julian, who was next to Elisia, immediately picked her up with his right arm, cradling her stomach.
"W-WAIT WAIT WAIT W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Elisia shouted in panic, her face turning red.
Julian carried Elisia toward Anindya. Once in front of her, he set her down.
"I’M LEAVING HER IN YOUR CARE!" Julian said.
"Yes, leave it to me~!" Anindya said, smiling and exuding a menacing aura.
Elisia was shocked and frightened, while Julian smiled, then quickly lunged at Kazora. When they were about a meter away, Julian jumped, pulling his right fist back.
"DESTROY!" Julian shouted with a grin.
"WHOOSH!"
Kazora casually grabbed Julian’s fist with his right hand.
"GRAB!"
Julian was shocked and immediately hung from Kazora’s grip. Kazora began to chuckle, but Julian didn’t seem to panic. Kazora raised his left hand, preparing to strike Julian.
Kazora began to attack with a flick, but Julian quickly swung towards Kazora’s right hand. Julian immediately locked Kazora’s right hand with his body and bit Kazora hard.
Kazora’s eyes widened.
"AARRGGGHHH!!!"
His scream was so loud, the pain made him involuntarily release his right hand. Julian landed safely.
Julian began to unfurl the chains again, lunged, and immediately bound Kazora’s legs with them. Kazora didn’t notice because of the pain he was experiencing.
"HEHEHE, NOW—FALL DOWN, YOU BASTARD!" Julian shouted, who was behind Kazora.
Julian pulled on both sides of the chains with all his strength, sending Kazora falling. Julian, without releasing the chains from Kazora’s legs, ran and kicked Kazora in the stomach with his left foot.
Kazora was taken aback, but Julian pressed his kick and pushed him away. Kazora was pushed, but only about 5 meters.
"KA-KAZO!" Elisia shouted, worried.
"YAY, JULIAN~!" Anindya shouted happily.
"Did it work?" Lia wondered.
The students who saw this also remained silent with stunned expressions.
"I-is Julian that strong?!" Desy asked.
"Y-yes... In junior high, he was feared by students from other schools because of his strength" Wiro replied proudly, standing to her right.
Desy faced Wiro.
"HUH?!... so Anindya’s dating a bad boy?!" Desy asked in a panic.
Wiro smiled, then grabbed Desy’s right hand with his right, then pulled it towards his stomach—making Desy startled and blush.
"Never mind... You’d better treat my stomach~" Wiro said gently.
Desy quickly pulled her hand away and slapped Wiro’s left cheek.
"D-DON’T LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITIES, YOU LONELY PLAYBOY!" Desy shouted in annoyance.
"S-sorry..." Wiro said, stroking his right cheek and awkward smiling at Desy.
Julian lowered his leg.
"DAMN, YOU’RE SO HEAVY!" Julian said.
The battle area was silent for a few seconds, the ceiling starting to darken. Kazora slowly stood up, then forcefully broke the chains that bound his legs by spreading them apart.
*WHISTLE!*
"AMAZING~" Julian said with a grin.
Julian lunged again, as usual. When he was within a meter, he jumped to punch Kazora in the face. But suddenly, a tranquilizer dart landed right in Kazora’s right chest.
"BAMMM!!!"
Julian managed to punch Kazora hard in the face. Kazora immediately lost consciousness and fell to the ground, while Julian landed on the ground. As Kazora fell to the ground, the dart that had pierced his chest came loose.
"HM? DID I SUCCEED?" Julian asked.
"KAZORA!!!" Masution shouted.
"Ka—KAZO!" Elisia shouted.
Elisia, Masution, and Kazora’s friends ran toward Kazora. Anindya, realizing the shot, immediately looked up at the rooftop of the third building.
"SAGARA!" Anindya thought to herself, looking annoyedly at the rooftop of the third building.
"I’m sorry, Lady" Kazora said, peering through the scope of her sniper rifle.
"Sigh~, let it be... I’d better..." Anindya said.
Anindya looked at Julian.
"Just hug Julian~!" Anindya said excitedly.
Anindya ran towards Julian, then jumped and hugged him.
"JULIAN~!"
"Oh?" said Julian, slightly surprised.
"You did it~!" Anindya said happily.
Cheers began to ring out from inside the main building.
"YAY! HE DID IT!"
"FINALLY!"
"HE’S SO STRONG!"
"Hmph, I didn’t think we’d find him at this school, did you, Val?" Tutut asked Val.
"Hey, do you guys know him?" Virgo asked, from class 11-HW.
"Yeah, he’s Julian Omega—from Fantail Pigeon Middle School in Tanah Abang—a school full of delinquents" Val replied with a serious expression.
All the students present were shocked.
"EH!? He’s an alumnus of that school!?" Yuda asked, from class 12-C.
Val nodded.
"S-sorry... I-isn’t that school full of delinquents and bullies?" Liam asked, from class 11-SW.
"You right, but it wasn’t for long. Short story, when my school and his school joined forces for a culinary festival... My friend—who was the most feared leader at that school—suddenly changed his personality and became kinder. He became more interested in studying and polite to others," Val replied.
"While he was on duty guarding his class’ Tanghulu stall, a blonde guy suddenly arrived—I thought he was a customer, but it turned out my friend said he was the school’s new leader—Julian Omega" Val continued.
All the students present were immediately shocked.
"What the hell..." Yuda said with a shocked expression.
"So... That guy is the one who made the delinquents good?" Libaria asked, from class 12-C.
"Yeah, but I didn’t expect him to change his appearance when he entered vocational school" Val said, smiling at Julian.
"KYAA~, JULIAN YOU’RE SO COOL~!!!" Anindya shouted happily.
Julian smiled, then pushed Anindya away from his embrace. He quickly held her chin with his right thumb and index finger, lifted her chin upward, and said.
"ANINDYA... YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL TODAY!" Julian said with a seductive expression, voice, and smile.
Seeing this, Lia’s gaze sharpened. Anindya froze, her eyes wide, not out of fear, but because that moment made her heart slowly warm, her cheeks even quickly flushed.
"Eh—?"
"YOUR EYES ARE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE MORNING OCEAN, AND..." Julian said.
Julian removed his fingers and stroked the skin of her right cheek.
"YOUR SKIN IS SO SMOOTH LIKE POWDERED SUGAR," Julian continued.
Julian brought his face closer to Anindya’s and sniffed it.
"YOUR FACE SMELLS SO GOOD!" Julian said.
"W-WHAT’S!!! W-WHY IS HE SO AGGRESSIVE!!!???" Anindya thought to herself, her eyes rolling in embarrassment.
"CAN I TASTE IT?" Julian asked in a deep voice.
Anindya was stunned.
"E-EH!!??"
Although her mind was happy, her heart was in panic because she wasn’t ready for it.
"W-W-W-WAIT A MOMENT!!!-" Anindya screamed.
Julian started to move his lips closer to hers. Anindya was still panicked, but she also wanted it. Tensely, she closed her eyes.
Just as his lips were about to touch hers, a tranquilizer dart suddenly landed on Julian’s right chest. Julian stopped in surprise, looked down at his chest, and within three seconds, he passed out.
"J-Julian?" Anindya asked, hearing someone fall.
She slowly opened her eyes.
"HUH!? JULIAN!?" Anindya asked, panicked, seeing Julian suddenly fall asleep.
Anindya noticed a needle had fallen to Julian’s right side. She grabbed the dart and gripped it tightly until the syringe shattered.
"S-A-G-A-R-A!!!" Anindya growled angrily.
"Lady—" Lia said, who was close behind Anindya.
Anindya immediately stood up and grabbed Lia’s shirt.
"DAMN LIA! YOU MUST HAVE TOLD SAGARA TO SHOT JULIAN, RIGHT!" said Anindya angrily.
"Yes, I’m sorry—" Lia said regretfully.
"TELL ME WHAT THE REASON IS! IF IT’S A REASON THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE—THEN BE PREPARED TO HAVE YOU PUNISHED LIKE LAVENDINA!" Anindya said.
Lia swallowed hard.
"Fine, I’ll tell you, but first I have to tell Mr. Bambam to prepare a bonfire in the middle of the field... Because the big bonfire is coming soon" Lia said.
"Sigh... Fine" Anindya agreed.
Anindya released her grip. When Lia wanted to call, Mr. Bambam was already in front of the second building with Kaza and Wulan. It turned out they were already there when the second round started.
Mr. Bambam—a 60-year-old man, 168 cm tall and 70 kg, with short white hair and a honey skin tone. His body looked old and thin, but his strength and bones still looked strong.
Behind Mr. Bambam saw a 180cm tall, four-wheeled cart. They walked towards Lia.
"Ms. Lia, what happened to Julian?" Kaza asked worriedly.
"Don’t worry, he’s probably just exhausted" Lia replied.
"Thank goodness~" Kaza said, breathing a sigh of relief.
"Anindya~," Wulan said.
Wulan jogged over to Anindya.
"Are you okay?" Wulan asked, hugging Anindya.
"Yes, I’m fine," Anindya replied, patting Wulan’s head.
"Mr. Bambam, I see you’ve got the wood I ordered earlier, right?" Lia asked.
"Of course, Ms. Lia, I’ve gotten it from various places... Now we can build a big bonfire," Bambam replied enthusiastically.
"Have the other staff arrived yet?" Lia asked.
"Not yet, it seems they’re still looking for other materials" Bambam replied.
"Okay, then you prepare the wood you brought first," Lia said.
"Okay~" Bambam said.
Bambam started walking, pulling the basket he was carrying.
"You two also help Mr. Bambam—also tell the others they can leave the building and help clean up the mess," Lia said to Kaza and Wulan.
"Okay, Ms. Lia," Kaza and Wulan said.
Kaza and Wulan ran after Mr. Bambam. Lia looked at Kazora.
"His body is back to normal? But his skin is still red?" Lia asked herself in amazement.
Lia smiled faintly.
"I’ll give it to Lavendina, who knows... she might need it" Lia said to herself.
"YOU GUYS, TAKE KAZORA TO THE INFIRMARY!" Lia shouted to Kazora’s friends.
"OKAY, MS!" they replied.
Now only Julian, Anindya, and Lia were left. Lia glanced at Anindya, who was squatting to Julian’s right.
"Okay, Young lady... Now I’ll tell you why," Lia said.
Anindya stood up, her expression turning serious.
