Chapter 11: I misunderstood, but the meaning was right
"Yilan, why do you look so ugly?"
"Nothing, I'm just a little worried about my studies. The workload next semester is very tight." Jiang Fu found an excuse to get away with it.
"That's right." Jiang Zhongcheng nodded. "If you work hard this semester, even though you're in an ordinary class, according to Hegang's school rules, you can still get back into the key class if you work hard."
"Yeah." Jiang Fu answered vaguely.
Seeing her listless, Jiang Zhongcheng sighed, "Yiran has a bad temper. If there are any conflicts, please be more tolerant."
Thinking of his own daughter's stubborn temper and the terrible communication experience in the past, he could only ask this sensible adopted daughter to make more concessions.
"I will." Jiang Fu smiled.
In spirit, she will definitely tolerate Jiang Yiran, but in action, it is another matter.
Jiang Zhongcheng felt a little relieved.
A new semester brings new hope. Jiang Fu was still somewhat looking forward to school life, but when she put on the school uniform of Hegang Middle School, her expectations suddenly dropped to freezing point.
A red blazer, a dark green bow tie, and a yellow and white plaid skirt that looked like it had been cut from a tablecloth.
What a nice plate of fried eggs with tomatoes and chopped green onions, it made her look pale.
After packing his textbooks and arriving at school, Jiang Fu was called to the office by his homeroom teacher.
Jiang Yilan was sent to Class 5. Her homeroom teacher for this semester was called He Zhen. He wore a pair of metal-framed glasses, had his hair tied up neatly, and was wearing a red coat that was almost new. He had a serious face and looked very difficult to deal with.
"Student Jiang Yilan, I've heard about your situation. I won't say much about your grades at the end of last semester. But this semester, you must attend classes carefully, complete your homework, and obey my teaching arrangements in my class. Is that acceptable to you?"
"Okay." Jiang Fu nodded.
This teacher looks fierce, but he emphasizes some very basic student rules.
"For your own safety, for the first month of school, you and the bottom ten students in the class will be kept after school every day. I will observe your daily learning situation. Is this acceptable to you?" She adjusted her glasses.
Before Jiang Fu could answer, the kind female teacher with long curly hair next to him spoke first, "Teacher He, it's the students' first day here, and you're so fierce. What if you scare the little students?"
The person who spoke was Ning Shuhe, the head teacher of Class 7. Compared to He Zhen's old-fashioned and serious demeanor, she dressed much more youthfully, wearing a silver-gray suit and large-framed glasses, and she looked very approachable.
"Teacher Ning, please don't bother with the students in our class." He Zhen didn't react at all to her words, not even raising an eyebrow.
"That's right. After all, Sheng Zhou from our class jumped into the top 50 in the school last semester. If we don't keep a close eye on such a good student, he might be snatched away by some mean old lady and her niece."
Ning Shuhe covered his mouth and laughed, then walked out of the office in high spirits.
"Don't take her words to heart. If you have any questions, you can ask me or other teachers after class." He Zhen comforted her.
She also knew a little about Sheng Lu and Jiang Yilan's retakes. Teaching is for everyone, and no matter what kind of student Jiang Yilan was, she had an obligation to help her improve.
"I can accept it." Jiang Fu nodded.
"what?"
"As for the detention and note checking, I can accept it." Jiang Fu tilted his head.
He Zhen breathed a sigh of relief, "You are obedient."
Her aunt was the school's principal, nicknamed Nun Miejue. After graduating, she joined the school. Because of her similar teaching style, many people at school called her "Little Miejue." Ning Shuhe, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. She wasn't strict with her students, and with her tolerant atmosphere, many students naturally liked her.
It's not like she hasn't taken care of young masters and young ladies from wealthy families before, but it's rare to see someone with such a well-behaved attitude.
This student named Jiang Yilan is surprisingly likable.
Jiang Fu only felt that the atmosphere suddenly became hot, as if someone was suppressing the emotion called "like".
Could it be this iceberg teacher?
She slowed down her pace somewhat stiffly and followed He Zhen to the classroom.
Class 5 is on the other side of the corridor on this floor, right past Class 7's classroom.
Passing by the aisle, Jiang Fu felt a familiar emotion, turned his head, and met Jiang Yiran's gaze.
The classroom behind the glass was noisy, and two students could be vaguely seen standing and fighting. Jiang Yiran just tilted his head and looked at her, as if he was admiring a fighting beast that was about to be torn apart through a cage.
She mouthed the words and then gave a sarcastic smile.
Jiang Fu didn't understand, he just smiled faintly, thought for a moment, and made a phone call gesture.
It's quite noisy here, if you have any trash talk, just talk on your phone.
Jiang Yiran's expression suddenly turned ugly.
"Sister Ran, what's wrong?" The boy sitting on her right raised his head from the comic book.
She raised her head slightly, "Jiang Yilan, quite wild."
"What about Little White Lotus?" the boy wondered.
"I just warned her that someone was going to play a prank on her, but she replied to tell me to call me when she's done." Jiang Yiran curled her lips and looked at him, "Don't you think she's pretty crazy?"
"Then I guess Qin Manxiao will teach her a lesson soon." He smiled sarcastically.
Because she didn't choose the same subject as them, and because of bad luck, Sister Qin was assigned to that black-faced female devil. He always felt regretful and always wanted to find an opportunity to get her back.
It’s so nice to follow Xiao Ning, no rules, free!
Class 5 and Class 6 are separated by a wall, and the atmosphere is completely different and quiet.
However, in Jiang Fu's perception, the emotions were still intense, with worry, nervousness, and... gloating.
Like something's about to happen.
He Zhen had already raised his hand, ready to push the door.
The moment the door was slowly pushed open, Jiang Fu stepped forward and pulled the person back.
An eraser covered in chalk dust fell by the door, and smoke and dust flew up, like a white firework.
Contrasting with the fireworks was He Zhen’s face, which was as dark as the bottom of a pot.
"Who is playing a prank?" She picked up the eraser and walked to the podium.
Even without a loudspeaker, her voice was loud and clear to the whole class.
Jiang Fu stood at the door, quietly sensing the emotions of the people in the class, and quickly locked onto the person who had just gloated.
There were two boys sitting in the front row, and one girl in the last row. The girl had several fancy braids and looked at her provocatively.
She understood. This was probably what Jiang Yiran wanted to remind her just now. Someone wanted to give her, or to be more precise, Jiang Yilan, a big gift when she entered the new class.
Then she had to return the thank you gift.
The class was very quiet. Everyone seemed to be confronting He Zhen with their silence, and no one spoke.
Finally, a petite girl wearing round-framed glasses stood up and said, "Teacher, it was Wang Dong and Xu Ming who put the eraser there. They also threatened us not to tell anyone."
