A group of people dressed in black robes slowly approached, holding magical artifacts that emitted an eerie light in their hands, chanting incantations.

"These people must be henchmen of a mysterious force. I wonder what they're up to," Jun Luochuan said in a low voice.

Su Yao nodded, "Let's see what they're up to first. Maybe we can find clues about the mysterious force's conspiracy."

The men in black robes stopped a short distance away. They stood around a huge black stone pillar and began some kind of mysterious ritual. As they chanted, the runes on the pillar shone brightly, and the surrounding darkness intensified.

"They seem to be waking something up," Jun Luochuan said, frowning.

Suddenly, a roar erupted from the stone pillar, and a gigantic dark beast burst forth from the earth. This beast resembled a Qilin, its entire body covered in black scales, its eyes flashing with blood-red light, radiating a powerful sense of oppression.

The dark Qilin roared in fury as it was attacked by the three men. It raised its massive claws and slammed them down at the mysterious man. The mysterious man dodged to the side, skillfully avoiding the attack, and simultaneously thrust his sword at the Qilin's leg.
