Chapter 814 - 228: Ian Is Voldemort!
Chapter 814 - 228: Ian Is Voldemort!
The sky was filled with dense clouds.
Stars were sparse.
The world outside the castle was swallowed in darkness, with only a few faint lamps swaying in the wind, and in a world without electricity and science, dim moonlight meant it was impossible to see one’s fingers.
It was an environment that many city dwellers had never experienced; in such a condition, ordinary people simply couldn’t see, but Ian was not an ordinary person.
He clearly saw the shadows merging with the night and the woman within them. Her appearance seemed to step out of a fairy tale, making the Little Wizard wonder if this was the Soul Hall Master mentioned by the big bad wolf.
Cinderella.
"Are you Cinderella?" Ian spoke for the first time, and when the other didn’t react, he walked to the window and loudly inquired again while staring at her position.
A strange shadow was hovering, seemingly enveloping a woman, and her eyes were also on Ian, with an expression of surprise.
However.
After Ian spoke.
The woman’s expression changed.
The woman in the shadow heard the name Ian said and showed a fleeting sneer, her lips moved, but no sound came.
As if silently mocking something.
"Hmm?"
Ian hadn’t expected that.
Did he mistake her for someone else?
The other seemed disdainful of Cinderella.
"That’s odd, if she were from Soul Hall, she should respect Cinderella according to what that stupid wolf described, since almost everyone in Soul Hall was recruited by Cinderella." Ian frowned, his gaze shifting between Little Morgan and the woman.
He couldn’t guess why the woman appeared, either because of Little Morgan or himself... The woman’s surprised expression was obvious just now, it couldn’t be because of him. While Ian was contemplating and secretly vigilant, the magic wand was ready to be cast at any moment.
"Teacher, what are you looking at?" Little Morgan noticed Ian didn’t respond and turned to look, only to find nothing behind her. She looked back at Ian in confusion.
"Is there something behind me? Trying to scare me? But I’m not afraid of ghosts or anything." Little Morgan indeed was bold, speaking with full confidence.
She remained outside the window, with her fair little hand on the window frame, without any sense of the eerie atmosphere urging her to quickly get inside.
"There’s a wizard behind you."
Ian didn’t hold back, even pointing a location to Little Morgan, but when she turned to look in the direction Ian pointed, she still saw nothing.
"I haven’t found anything... Where’s the wizard?" Little Morgan rubbed her eyes and carefully searched the night for hidden figures.
But.
Still found nothing.
Her gaze stopped numerous times on the shadow’s location but seemed to find nothing unusual, eventually looking elsewhere to try finding the wizard Ian mentioned.
"Hmm? Look again?" When Ian heard this, his face showed surprise; he raised his hand and lightly wiped it in front of Little Morgan’s eyes, granting her night vision.
"Oh! Wow! This is amazing!" Little Morgan perceived the different view and felt the wonder of magic, quickly turned back to look behind.
"I only saw there’s an owl’s nest in the tree over there." Little Morgan looked towards the direction the woman was hovering, but she didn’t see the hovering shadow.
She only saw the bird’s nest on the tree behind the shadow.
This was evidently not normal.
"What’s going on?"
Ian’s pupils slightly contracted as he scrutinized Little Morgan’s expression, trying to discern signs of jest from her eyes, but Little Morgan’s perplexed emotion was genuine. She really didn’t find any wizard; her eyes and emotions indicated she truly knew nothing about the mysterious woman.
"That’s interesting."
Ian raised his eyebrow.
The hovering woman outside remained motionless during their conversation, quietly floating there, her gaze shifting from Ian to Little Morgan.
"Is there a wizard invisible, so I can’t see them?" Little Morgan, sure Ian wasn’t joking with her, curiously asked her teacher.
"Maybe."
Ian wasn’t sure either.
His gaze returned outside. The woman was still hovering; her figure intermittently appearing in the night made the Little Wizard inexplicably feel a hint of danger.
A woman who could make a legend feel threatened?
A legend as well?
Ian wasn’t certain.
Nonetheless, he had always trusted his sixth sense, so the next moment, the magic wand silently slipped into Ian’s hand from his sleeve.
The bottle containing the big bad wolf also flew into his other hand, effortlessly when he slightly wielded his magic wand, from the ground where The Mirror of Erised was placed.
"Stupid wolf."
Ian pointed the bottle outside, letting the big bad wolf see the direction of the shadow.
"Who is that?"
He asked the soul body, who also used shadows as armor and came from Soul Hall; however, the big bad wolf’s soul body in the bottle bounced around after shaking for a moment.
