Chapter 189: The Time-Disordered Cake Castle

After finishing the illusion magic class, Lily and her team were planning to take a good rest. At this moment, the administrator of the dimensional market came running in with a letter in his hand.

"Princess Lily, this is an urgent request from the Time Management Bureau." The administrator said breathlessly.

"Time Management Bureau? What happened again?" Lily asked curiously.

"The Time Management Bureau reports that in a place called Cake Castle, time has suddenly become extremely chaotic. You are needed to investigate and solve the problem." The administrator explained.

"Cake Castle? It sounds like a sweet place." Xiao Ai licked her lips, obviously looking forward to the name.

"We need to leave immediately and solve this problem." Lily said.

They came to the Cake Castle through the portal. They were amazed by the sight before them: this castle was really made entirely of various delicious cakes and candies, and the air was filled with sweet aroma.

"This place is a paradise for sweet lovers," exclaimed Rhett.

“But that’s also the problem,” Nana said. “The confusion of time may make everything unpredictable.”

They entered the castle and found that time was flowing in an extremely chaotic way: in some places, time was very fast, while in some places, time was almost stagnant. The residents of the castle were all cute dessert people, and they seemed panicked and didn't know how to deal with this anomaly.

"We need to find the source of the time disorder." Lily said.

Under the guidance of a cake guard, they came to the castle's time clock tower. In the center of the clock tower was a huge clock, but the hands of the clock kept spinning, obviously out of control.

"This must be the source of the problem," Leiter said. "We need to repair this clock."

As they try to get closer to the clock, a giant cream monster suddenly appears, blocking their way.

"Are you here to cause trouble?" the cream monster roared, "I won't let you succeed!"

"We are here to repair time, please move aside," Lily said, but the cream monster obviously didn't listen and attacked them.

During the battle, the cream monster sprayed a lot of cream, trying to trap them. Xiao Ai reacted quickly and used illusion magic to create a huge ice cream monster to fight the cream monster. Nana used magic to freeze the ground, making the cream monster slip. Lily and Rhett seized the opportunity and defeated the cream monster together.

"Well done, team!" praised Lily.

They continued to move forward and finally came to the control room of the time clock. The control room was full of complex gears and clock parts, which obviously required superb skills to repair.

"We need to find out what the problem is," said Nana, and she began to carefully examine every gear and part.

Lily found that a gear was stuck, and she carefully repaired it with magic. Leiter adjusted the position of the clock's hands, and Xiao Ai used illusion magic to assist and ensure that all parts were functioning normally.

After some efforts, the clock finally returned to normal, and the flow of time gradually stabilized. The dessert people in the castle cheered and thanked Lily and her team.

"Thank you, Princess Lily and her team." A cake king came forward and said gratefully, "You saved our castle."

"That's our duty," Lily said with a smile, "but we still need to understand what caused the time disorder."

King Cake sighed, "Actually, all of this is because of a forgotten magic experiment. Our kingdom once tried to use time magic to increase the shelf life of desserts, but we didn't expect the experiment to get out of control, resulting in this time confusion."

Lily and her team left the Cake Castle and returned to the Dimension Market, where the administrator was waiting for them.

"You succeeded again, thank you for your help." said the administrator.

"This mission is really sweet and thrilling." Xiao Ai said with a smile.

“We learned a lot and became a closer community,” Lily said.

"Where are we going next?" asked Rhett.

“It’ll be a fantastic adventure wherever we go,” Lily said with a smile.

The team continued to move forward in the sunshine, and new adventures were waiting for them. Although the future was full of unknowns, they knew that as long as they united as one, they could overcome all challenges.

"Let's go to the next stop and continue our fantasy journey through time and space!" Lily announced loudly.
