Accidentally transported to the beast world: Survive and fight off giant wolves

Chapter 500 Guanxi

Chapter 500 Guanxi

"He's been sleeping for so long, why hasn't he woken up yet?" A clear voice came from not far away.

"Isn't he dead?"

"Don't talk nonsense, have you forgotten? He is our master." The voice was rather deep, revealing the orc's personality.

"But what is a master?" The slightly lively orc tilted his head slightly, his face full of confusion.

"Hmm, I'm not sure either, I guess we should just listen to him."

Since they woke up, a faint voice had been telling them that the orc in front of them was their master.

Although the composed orc did not understand his master's meaning, the consciousness in his mind made him clearly know that these orcs were everything to them, and they were born for him.

The Beast God was awakened by a series of noises. The daytime sunlight was a bit dazzling. He woke up abruptly and subconsciously shielded his eyes from the sunlight with his fingers. When he opened his eyes, he saw two beastmen in front of him, one calm and the other lively.

The Beast God's eyes widened suddenly. Was he dreaming? Were these two people before him his own kind?!

He had seen his own face by the river and stream before, so he could recognize them almost instantly.

But why?

He had searched for so many years without finding any trace of his kind on this continent, so why did he wake up to find so many people who looked exactly like him?!

"Master, you're awake?!" The short but lively orc was overjoyed and rushed to the Beast God's side. "Beast God, you've finally woken up! You've been asleep for so long, the sun has set many times!"

The composed orc beside him, though not as excited as the lively orc, still had a hint of surprise in his eyes.

"Great! I need to hurry and tell the other orcs that our master has woken up!" she said, chattering excitedly.

"Who are you? Why are you calling me master? I am not your master." The Beast God felt slightly uncomfortable when his own kind touched him, and he subconsciously pulled his hand back.

The more composed orc beside him, perhaps noticing his helplessness, pulled the lively orc back to his senses, speaking respectfully and earnestly, "Master, we were born for you."

The Beast God's eyes were filled with disbelief. "Born for me? Are you kidding me?"

Even the usually composed orc seemed somewhat at a loss for words upon seeing his expression. "Could it be... could it be that it isn't?"

"You are the Beast God, our master."

The Beast God paused for a moment. Even he, the Beast God, didn't know his own name was Beast God. So what were these people? Were they beastmen?

"You all should leave first. I need to think this over carefully." The Beast God felt a splitting headache, and all his thoughts were exploding in his mind, but he couldn't make heads or tails of them.

Hearing him say that, the two orcs had no choice but to obediently retreat.

At this moment, only the Beast God was under the ancient tree. He stared blankly at his own shadow on the ground. The shadow rippled slightly, as if it sensed his bewildered and helpless emotions.

"Shadow, what on earth is going on?" The Beast God felt like it was all a dream. How could he wake up to find himself with his own kind?!

Then he suddenly remembered that he seemed to have hit a rock before he lost consciousness. Could it be that he was still dreaming?

He suddenly looked at his right fist and saw that the bleeding wound had already scabbed over, and new flesh had even grown over it.

So none of this was a dream?

"It's that stone, it's made from that stone!" The Beast God suddenly stood up, his voice filled with excitement. He remembered everything. After he smashed the stone, his blood splattered onto it, and the stone suddenly shone with golden light. Then he lost consciousness.

The shadow paused for a moment, seemingly puzzled.

The Beast God had no time to explain these things to him. He was like a madman, trying to find the stone that had been there before he lost consciousness. "Where is it? Where exactly is it? I'm sure I didn't remember it wrong!"

Just as the Beast God was searching everywhere, a blurry figure flickered behind the ancient tree, seemingly watching him silently.

No one expected that the Beast God would be so persistent, searching tirelessly for a long time, refusing to give up no matter how the surrounding orcs tried to dissuade him.

He was born with an enigma, and now that he has finally found a clue, he is determined to find out the truth.

In the end, the light and shadow were defeated. It seemed to have finally admitted defeat, and the halo surrounding it seemed to carry a sense of helplessness.

This beam of light appeared out of thin air right in front of the Beast God.

The Beast God was momentarily stunned upon seeing him, staring blankly at the figure of light.

He seemed to sense a familiar feeling from the light and shadow, which made him feel exceptionally warm and at ease.

"You are...you are that stone!" The Beast God's eyes widened suddenly.

The light and shadow trembled slightly, as if in response to him.

"So you did all of this?"

The light and shadow flickered up and down, as if acknowledging the statement.

"Your name is Guanxi. After your trials, you will ascend to godhood." At this moment, a voice appeared out of nowhere in his mind.

The Beast God murmured, "Guanxi, so my name is Guanxi?"

He finally learned his name.

So he came to this place to gain experience?

But what is he going to do?

As if seeing the confusion in his eyes, the light and shadow trembled slightly again. "Don't panic, just be yourself. When the time comes, you will naturally become a god."

The light and shadow seemed to have come solely to appease Guan Xi, leaving behind a few words before suddenly disappearing into the air.

Having obtained the answer, the Beast God no longer clung to his identity. After the light and shadow vanished into thin air, he belatedly felt a sense of joy.

He found his own kind! He found companions on this orcish continent!

Year after year, he and his companions struggled to survive, leading them to search for food and shelter, and together they defended themselves against attacks from wild beasts, gradually growing stronger.

Although he didn't like the orcs calling him master, since they considered him their master, he felt it was his responsibility to take care of them.

The Beast Gods experienced joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness around them, witnessed laughter and curses, and experienced life and death.

He saw off one orc after another.

The originally innocent beast god, like a blank sheet of paper, was imbued with countless colors by these groups of beastmen.

He is no longer the bewildered and helpless Guan Xi who longed for companionship, but a composed and powerful Beast God.

During this time, his shadow always followed him. Guanxi could sense that Yingxi seemed to be becoming more and more self-aware.

Whenever Guanxi was with those beastmen, Yingxi's fluctuations became even more intense, as if she were about to break through some kind of seal.

That's right, he named his shadow Yingxi. Guangying once told him that Xi represents the sun, and shadow is the darkest thing, cold and pitch black. But Guanxi didn't think his shadow was cold and heartless.

He was his closest companion, accompanying him from the beginning to the present. Without Shadow, he might have lost all hope of survival long ago.

So he gave one character from his name to his shadow, making it sound as if he and his shadow were the closest people to each other.

Just as the Beast God was resigned to his fate, the light and shadow suddenly reappeared.
