Traveling back in time to take care of Sung Deok-sun

Chapter 156 Boundary

Chapter 156 Boundary

"I really am..."

“Sunwoo, you’re still young. You don’t understand what true love is like. It’s normal to like an older sister from the same alley. I’ll just pretend it never happened.”

"You're not allowed to talk about this again!"

After Paula finished speaking, she added a threat.

"Are you still going to eat, sis?" Sunwoo reached out and handed her a cookie.

Paula looked at his eyes, which clearly showed he didn't want to give up, and didn't reach out to take it.

“So, we’re not friends, just an ordinary man and woman. Why can’t I pursue you?” Sunwoo took back the cookie. “You don’t even dare to take a cookie from a ‘friend’.”

"You!!" Paula angrily reached out to punch him, but the elevator doors suddenly opened.

The two stared at the door, then froze.

"Sister, let's go out first!" Sunwoo, who was closer to the door, grabbed Bora's hand and pulled her out.

The two people who stepped out of the elevator then noticed the bilingual (Chinese and English) sign.

"Seriously, it's always been broken~" Sunwoo complained about the elevator.

"Let go!" Paula's voice rang out harshly.

"Ah!" Sunwoo let go of Bora's hand.

Paula was so angry that her face turned red. Speechless after being teased by Sunwoo, Paula didn't want to talk to him anymore and ran up the stairs in three quick steps.

"Sis! The room is downstairs," Sunwoo called out.

After running a few steps, Bora suddenly froze on the spot. Furious, she went down to Sunwoo's side and couldn't hold back any longer. She grabbed Sunwoo and punched him a few times.

"Me!" One punch~

"No!" Two punches~

"I know!" (Three punches)

"Damn!" Four punches~

"Ugh!! I'm so angry!"

Paula was angry, a flush rising on her face, as she strode quickly downstairs. However, it was unclear how much of that flush was actually from anger.

"Ouch~" Sunwoo watched Bora walk away, wiped the places on his body where he had been hit, and turned back to walk upstairs.

I wonder if Aze's match is over yet~

"Let's go back," Sunwoo wisely calmed down. "Going back with Bora now would definitely get us another beating..."

in the ward

Cui Wusheng was half-lying down watching TV.

"Hasn't Taek called yet?" Sun-young, who had been taking care of him for almost a day, was putting on her coat.

"Well, I didn't come."

"Are you going back?"

When Cui Wusheng saw that she had put on her coat, he asked her a question.

"No, I just wanted to go for a walk and maybe buy some crucian carp cakes on the way," Shanying replied with a smile. "I just saw that five crucian carp cakes here only cost 200 won."

"I'll go downstairs and buy it. You can stay here by yourself for a while."

Choi Moo-sung nodded, and after watching Sun-young leave, he stopped watching TV, pulled up the blanket, and prepared to lie down and rest for a while.

Having slept for a while, Cui Wusheng opened his eyes, unsure whether he couldn't fall back asleep or sensed something.

The man in the gray work clothes stood quietly in the ward, carrying the gifts and looking at him.

"Oh~ is it Tae-young?" Choi Moo-sung opened his eyes and confirmed that the person who came was his childhood friend and fellow villager, Seon-young's older brother, Kim Tae-young.

Yes, it's me!

"Oh dear, what's wrong with you now?"

Kim Tae-young sighed. Just a few days ago, the two of them had attended the funeral of another childhood friend, and he collapsed a few days after they returned.

"Ouch~ How did you get here? I'm fine~" Cui Wusheng got up.

"What do you mean nothing's wrong! Nothing's wrong?"

Do you know how dangerous a brain hemorrhage is?

"Why would someone with high blood pressure drink so much alcohol?"

Kim Tae-young looked at him with a reproach.

"Then why didn't you come sooner?" Cui Wusheng looked at him with a smile. He would only joke like this with his childhood friend.

"You just got back from the local factory, you rascal!" Kim Tae-young explained, putting down the gifts in her hand and sitting on the stool next to the hospital bed.

"I knew this day would come."

"He has high blood pressure, but he doesn't take medicine and still drinks alcohol one glass after another."

"After this, you'll have to take good care of yourself."

Kim Tae-young looked at Choi Moo-sung with a disappointed expression.

"Please take better care of your health too!"

"Don't just talk about Aze all the time. You have to live your own life too, right?"

"You only have one life, and it will be over in the blink of an eye."

"Are you going to take that money with you to the afterlife?"

Cui Wusheng smiled as he listened to his childhood friend's concern.

"Yes, put all that money neatly into the coffin."

Haha~ You really are~~

Kim Tae-young's face lit up with a smile and her resentment lessened after he teased her like that.

"You're really something. Zai Shang (our deceased childhood friend) is gone too. It's just the two of us left who grew up together. Remember that, and take good care of yourself!"

Kim Tae-young reached out and gently patted Choi Moo-sung's thigh.

"Alright, alright, I know, you're nagging like an old man," Cui Wusheng replied.

Seeing that he agreed, Kim Tae-young hesitated for a moment before speaking.

“Um… Wu Sheng, you don’t know about that incident, do you?” Kim Tae-young looked at him.

"What's wrong?" Cui Wusheng asked him curiously.

"Looks like she really didn't tell you?" Kim Tae-young muttered to herself.

"What's wrong? Whose business is it?" Seeing him muttering to himself only piqued Cui Wusheng's curiosity even more.

“She’s my sister, Sun-young,” Kim Tae-young said.

"What's wrong with her?" Cui Wusheng threw back the covers and sat up.

“I was going to tell you, but she said you didn’t need to come here.” Kim Tae-young then told you about her sister Sun-young’s recent experiences.

"Heh~" Choi Moo-sung chuckled self-deprecatingly. He had come to take care of Seon-young for two days, but he hadn't noticed a single problem.

What he found even more ridiculous was that everyone else knew except for him, Shan Ying's fellow villager and elder brother.

And yet he so readily accepted Sun-young's care...

"Wu Sheng, that's just her personality. I wanted to help her, but she wouldn't let me, otherwise I wouldn't have kept it from you..."

Seeing that he kept sighing, Kim Tae-young quickly explained on Sun-young's behalf.

“Okay, Tae-young, I understand. Thank you for telling me.” Choi Moo-sung interrupted Kim Tae-young.

"It's getting late, you still have things to do!" Cui Wusheng reminded him.

"Then you must take good care of yourself!" Kim Tae-young said with concern after he reminded her and she checked the time.

"Alright, alright, you're not a child anymore." Cui Wusheng waved for him to leave.

Kim Tae-young then slowly got up, sighed, and left the ward.
