Chapter 26 Two kinds of people can’t sleep in one bed
Jung-hwan's House
Zhengfeng's father sat on the ground, next to Paula's mother, one of the three "queens" of Fenghuangtang Hutong, who was singing loudly.
"Big sister! What's wrong? Hasn't he arrived yet?" Sunwoo's mother pulled Pearl in and asked curiously when she saw that it was just the two of them.
"Oh my gosh~ Pearl's here~" Paula's mom happily opened her arms, gesturing for Pearl to hug her.
"Oh my! What's that smell? It smells so good!" Paula's dad grabbed his suit and headed straight for Zhengfeng's house as soon as he got off work.
"I got off work so quickly today!" Paula's mom said.
"Oh dear~ Daddy Aze rarely treats us to a meal, how could he be late for something like this?" Paula's dad replied, then looked at the strange dishes on the table and asked, "What are we having today?"
"I made pasta!" Ms. Leopard, who had just come out of the kitchen, put a bowl of pasta on the table when Paula's father asked, and replied casually.
"Li...Li noodles? What's that?" Paula's dad asked, puzzled yet somewhat humbly.
"It's called spaghetti, a type of American pasta," Zhengfeng's dad explained, but then asked Ms. Leopard, "But! How do you eat it?"
"How else can we eat it? People eat the same things." Ms. Leopard stirred the noodles in the basin and started dividing them into portions, apparently making cold noodles.
"Why isn't Aze's dad here yet? The noodles are all soggy." Ms. Leopard asked as she distributed noodles to everyone.
“Aze’s dad is a big star here, and big stars are supposed to be the grand finale, oh!” Zhengfeng’s dad had just finished speaking when the doorbell rang.
"A big star is here?" Sunwoo's mother chimed in.
"The door is open, why ring the doorbell?" Zhengfeng's father had a big question on his little head.
"I'm really worried for him," Ms. Leopard said, pursing her lips and complaining about Aze's father.
The father of the famous star Aze walked in through the door and greeted everyone with a "Hello everyone."
Pearl pointed at Aze's father and shouted something incomprehensible.
"Let's go play in Zhengfeng's room!" Everyone was ready to start drinking, and Shanyu's mother skillfully lured Zhenzhu to Zhengfeng's room.
"Brother! Why are you so late? We've been waiting so long our necks are about to break!" Sunwoo's mother exclaimed dramatically.
"Oh dear, on a day like today, it would be better to close the shop early. My son earns so much money, yet he still works so hard!" Ms. Leopard teased Aze's father with a smile.
"That's not my money, it's Aze's money," Aze's father said with an embarrassed smile.
“Aze doesn’t need money at all! All he does is play Go all day. Aze’s dad should spend more money on daily expenses.” Paula’s mom teased.
"Hehe~~ Oh~ this..." Listening to the teasing of these old neighbors, Aze's father didn't respond. Instead, he lifted the roast chicken in his hand and placed it on the chair.
Everyone saw the bags that Aze's father was carrying. Ms. Leopard looked at the two bags and said, "Oh dear, why did you buy two?" Then she looked at Zhengfeng's father and said, "Honey, take these to the child's room."
"Hmm." Zhengfeng's father didn't say much, got up and went over to pick up the fried chicken.
"Is Aze coming over? I haven't seen him in a long time." Sunwoo's mother took the noodles that Leopard Lady had made from her bowl.
Paula's dad also looked at Taek's dad. He also liked Taek very much, and every time they met, he would call him Master Choi...
"He'll come. Since he's not in school, his only friends are those in this alley. He hasn't had a chance to relax in a long time," Aze's father said with a smile as he spoke with the old neighbors.
Just as the old neighbors were chatting, getting their bowls, and preparing to eat, Zhengfeng's father would always do things that would anger Ms. Leopard.
"Hey! Aze's dad, look! Wave your hand! Say something!" Zhengfeng's dad pointed the camera at Aze's dad.
"Hmm? No need!" Aze's father turned around and waved his hand, indicating that he didn't want to take pictures.
Zhengfeng's father said listlessly, "Oh dear, really!"
"Well then! Paula's dad! Say a few words!"
Paula's dad, on the other hand, had a big smile on his face and even flashed a standard peace sign.
"Next up are our Phoenix Hall Hutong Sisters!" Zhengfeng's father was having a great time.
The two Phoenix Hall divas were very supportive, clapping and shouting:
“A camera! It can record the action!” Paula’s mom chimed in.
"They look like they came from a TV station," Sunwoo's mother chimed in.
Seeing how well the two sisters were behaving, Zhengfeng's father became a little carried away: "Oh! And there's one more? The prettiest of our sisters! Our..."
The camera pans to show Ms. Leopard looking at the idiot with that smug look.
"Put it down before I count to three! One, two..."
Zhengfeng's father composed himself and quickly put down his expression.
Indeed, the "count to three" tactic is effective in any country.
But Zhengfeng's father is no ordinary person, because he dares to do stupid things.
He glanced at her and, seeing that Ms. Leopard wasn't looking at him, he picked up the camera again with a sly grin: "Didn't expect that, did you! I've raised it again!"
Enraged, Ms. Leopard slapped the camera across the face. Congratulations to Zhengfeng's father for getting a dark circle under his eye, hit right in the eye by the camera...
Sure enough, Zhengfeng's father, who always courts trouble, easily angered Ms. Luo Meilan.
"Take it away!"
"Ouch! My eyeballs almost popped out!"
"How can we live like this...? It's so terrifying..."
Zhengfeng's dad casually put it aside and forgot to turn it off...
"We're back!"
"School's out!"
Wawawa and Jung-hwan returned first, greeted each other, and then headed straight to their room.
"Where is our Sunwoo?" Sunwoo's mother asked, looking up.
Jung-hwan glanced at it and pointed behind him: "It's in the back!"
"Hello everyone!" Sunwoo walked into the house with his schoolbag and closed the door behind him.
"Sunwoo! Do you know how much Auntie loves you?" Paula's mom joked.
Sunwoo was already familiar with these aunties, and replied with a smile, "I know!"
Several longtime neighbors smiled.
The door opened, and the group looked over to see Aze walking in with a smile, carrying a shoulder bag in both hands. He nodded to them and said, "Hello everyone!"
oh! ! !
The group cheered enthusiastically, and the two sisters clapped their hands vigorously.
"Our Aze is here!"
Paula's father, in a rather peculiar manner, gave a deep bow and said, "Welcome, Young Master Cui!"
Startled, Aze quickly bowed deeply in return.
"It is an honor for our family to have you personally grace our humble abode!" Paula's playful giggles made Aze smile continuously.
"Please introduce yourself! This is our son-in-law!" Paula's father said in a serious tone.
“Bora’s dad! Taek is going to marry our Pearl!” Sunwoo’s mom said with a grin, not to be outdone.
“We’ve already decided, right, Ze?” Paula’s mom teased Ze.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm your stepmother!" Ms. Leopard reached out to Aze, unleashing her ultimate move.
“I am your stepfather!” Zhengfeng’s father, not to be outdone, also stood up and reached out to shake hands with Aze.
Sure enough, you can't sleep in the same bed with two different kinds of people.
The sisters from Phoenix Hall Hutong behind them burst into laughter, making honking noises like geese.
