Chapter 163 Strange Merchant

Lily, Mo Li and Lei Te had just recovered from the battle in the night market and were about to take a good rest when a businessman in a gorgeous robe suddenly appeared in front of them. He was pushing a small cart full of rare treasures and smiling mysteriously.

"Dear warriors, I heard that you performed very bravely at the night market. I have some magical items here that may be of help to you." The merchant said with a smile.

Lily was a little wary, but still looked at the merchant's goods with curiosity. The cart was filled with all kinds of items: from sparkling gems to strange-looking magic props.

"What's so special about these things?" Mo Li asked.

The businessman smiled mysteriously: "These are all brought back from different time and space, and each one has unique power. For example, this time and space ring can allow people to travel to any point in the past." As he said, he took out a ring that was shining with blue light.

"It sounds impressive, but why should we trust you?" Lily asked with a raised eyebrow.

The businessman shrugged: "If you don't believe me, you can try it. There's nothing to lose anyway."

Lily and Mo Li looked at each other and decided to trust the businessman for the time being. Lily put on the ring of time and space, silently thinking about going back to the night market. Suddenly, her eyes went dark, and when she opened her eyes again, she actually went back to a few minutes ago and saw herself and Mo Li fighting a black shadow.

"This is real!" Lily exclaimed, quickly returning to the present time.

"It seems that this ring is indeed useful." Lily handed the ring to Mo Li. Seeing this, the merchant nodded with satisfaction: "This is just one of them. There are many other treasures that can help you."

They continued to browse the merchant's items and found a weapon called "Phantom Sword". According to the merchant, this sword can create countless phantoms to confuse the enemy in battle. Mo Li took it without hesitation.

"Thank you, merchant. These items of yours are really helpful to us." said Rhett.

The businessman waved his hand. "You're welcome. I just hope you can make good use of it. After all, this world needs your courage and wisdom."

After saying goodbye to the businessman, Lily, Mo Li and Lei Te decided to continue investigating the ins and outs of the Shadow Organization. They came to a tavern in the town, hoping to get more information from the locals.

Just then, they heard footsteps and a man in a black robe walked in. It was one of the shadows from before. The man noticed them and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Why are you here?" the man asked coldly.

"We're here to cause you trouble." Lily answered bluntly, pulling out her wind chime and preparing for battle.

The man sneered and waved his hand to summon several companions. They quickly surrounded Lily and Mo Li with weapons in hand. The battle was about to break out, and the air was filled with tension.

Lily quickly played the wind chime, sending out a powerful sound wave that knocked back several enemies. Mo Li wielded the phantom sword, creating countless phantoms to confuse the enemy.

"Do you think you can defeat us like this?" The man in black robe sneered, formed seals with his hands, and the ground suddenly cracked and a black mist emerged.

Lily and Mo Li were shrouded in black fog, and felt their bodies restrained by invisible forces, unable to move. The man in black robe smiled proudly and said, "This is the secret technique of our shadow organization. You can't escape."

Just when they were in trouble, Rhett suddenly appeared, holding a staff shining with blue light. He waved the staff and a blue light dispersed the black fog.

"Are you okay?" Rhett asked with concern.

"We're fine, thank you." Lily breathed a sigh of relief and regained her balance.

The three of them joined forces to fight against the members of the Shadow Organization, and after a fierce battle, they finally defeated them all. The man in the black robe was restrained, and Lily asked coldly: "Tell me, what is your conspiracy?"

The man in black clenched his teeth and refused to speak. Leiter cast a spell to create an illusion and questioned him: "If you don't tell the truth, we will trap you in this illusion forever and you will be unable to extricate yourself."
